Poached pears

Poached Pears in Red wine is a simple dish, but the pears have to be so soft they can be eaten with a spoon, so take care to cook them long enough

Poached pears

  • 250 ml red wine
  • 50 g sugar
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 4 cloves
  • 1 bay leaf

3. Finishing touches
