Pan Fried Octopus

A little scary looking but also beautiful octopus looks amazing on a plate. Also very delicious so make sure you try this recipe!

Ingredients

  • 1 kg pulpo (pre-cooked octopus tentacles) 
  • olive oil
  • 2 spring onions
  • 2 garlic cloves, peeled and crushed
  • 1 lime
  • sea salt
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • Micro greens to decorate


Preparation

1. High Heat
Heat up your fry pan over high heat and coat with olive oil. Stir in garlic and move around until golden brown and remove from the pan.

2. Pulpo
Add the pulpo and sear all sides for around 10 minutes until it turns a nice golden color.

3. Season
Add the garlic again, season with freshly ground pepper and sea salt before squeezing some fresh lime juice on top. Serve with fresh salad, spring onions and fresh micro herbs
